Kathy Shawl

A friend Kate sent me a book where there were the instructions to make Elizabeth Zimmerman's Pi shawl. Based on this idea of increasing stitches every few rows  I made this shawl thinking of her.

Kathy Shawl.

I used size 4mm dp needles then a circular needle as size increased.
100g medium weight baby yarn for this shawl.
Cast on 9sts
Knit 1 round.

Repeat rounds 5-8 for 16 times.

Start sideways lace edging: with each of the last ssk on the rows you will be binding off one of the stitches from the circular needle. I used a dp to make turning easier.
