This is a lovely pattern and looks so elegant but really isn't difficult to knit. At this point I'm working the border. I used US 5 needles and a thin baby weight wool blend white yarn and though I still need to finish and block, I think this will be just the right size for an 18" doll. I'm surprised this beautiful pattern has been hidden away here on the internet since 2017! I feel like I found buried treasure. When I finish this one, I'll probably try another with smaller needles and thinner yarn, more approaching lace weight. Thanks for posting!
