rows 7-8 to desired size. (I increased until there were 123sts.)

start working border:

on 7sts. (At beginning of the shawl body row)

Continue
working the border until you are 1 st before the central stitch.

Found this pattern and did it up in a night out of sparkling green finger weight wool blend. Just beautiful after blocking. May be helpful to add to place markers on either side of middle stitch to stay on track.
