School
pullover knitting pattern for 18 inch doll.
The sweater is a fairly loose fit. If you prefer a smaller size go down a needle size. Remember it needs to be large enough to fit over the doll head.
To make this sweater you need to work the front, back and sleeves separately breaking yarn and leaving on a spare needle or yarn till all 4 pieces are ready. Then using a circular needle place pieces on needle starting at center front where the "V" neck starts. It is then worked in rows .
To shorten or lengthen sleeves remove or add extra rows where there are no increases. Body length can be adgusted as you like.

Thank you so much, Patricia, for this lovely pattern! I've been wanting to make one like this for a long time!
ReplyDeleteThankyou. Glad you like it!
ReplyDeleteThank you. So nice to have a simple basic pull over that I can knit for the dolls quickly. Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThankyou!
DeleteWhere are the directions for the front of the sweater please?

DeleteI have updated pattern.
DeleteIs there a pattern for a lower "V" that wouldn't require an opening down the back?
ReplyDeleteThis pattern doesn't have buttons. It is like a traditional school sweater not a cardi.
