Doll ponytail hat knitting pattern

I wanted to add a hat pattern for a "messy bun" or what I would have called a pony tail hat.

Pony tail hat.
Cast on 70Sts

1-6: K1, p1, repeat to end of row.

Start cable pattern:

1: P2, (k6, p4,) to last 8sts, k6, p2.

2: K2, (p6, k4) to last 8sts, p6, k2.

3-4: As rows 1-2.

5: P2, (c6f, p4) Repeat to last 8sts, c6f, p2.

6: K2, (p6, k4) to last 8sts, p6, k2.

7-12: As rows 1-2.

13: P2, (c6f, p4) Repeat to last 8sts, c6f, p2.

14: K2, (p6, k4) to last 8sts, p6, k2.

15: P2, (k6, p1, p2tog, p1), to last 8sts, k6, p2. (64 sts)

16: K2, (p6, k3) to last 8sts, p6, k2.

17: P2, (k6, p2tog, p1) to last 8 sts, k6, p2. (58sts)

18: K2, (p6, k2) to last 8 sts, p6, k2.

19: P2tog, (k2, k2tog, k2, p2tog) to last 8sts, k2, k2tog, k2, 

p2tog. (43sts)

20: (K1, p1, p3tog, p1,) to last st, k1. (29sts)

21: (P1, k1) to last st, p1.

22: (K1, p1) to last st, k1.

Bind off in rib.

Sew seam, weave in yarn ends.



Ponytail hat pattern


Scarf.

Cast on 20sts.

Knit 4 rows.

1: K4, p3, k6, p3, k4.

2: K7, p6, k7.

3-4: as rows 1-2.

5: K4, p3, c6f, p3, k4.

6: K7, p6, k7.

7-12: as rows 1-2.

13-14: as rows 5-6.

Repeat rows 7-14 until there are 26 cable crosses or till desired length.

Next rows:

Repeat rows 1-4.
Knit 4 rows. Bind off and weave in yarn ends.



Fingerless Mittens.

Cast on 22sts.

1-3: K1, p1, rib.

4-7: Knit.

8: Knit 10, knit 2tog, yo, k10.

9-12: Knit.

13-15: K1, p1, rib.

Bind off in rib.


Make other fingerless mitten the same except for row 8:

8: Knit 10, yo, knit 2tog, k10.

Sew seams and weave in yarn ends.


Free hat pattern
Gauge: 7 sts x 9 rows = 1 inch. In stockinette stitch

Abbreviations:
Co: cast on.
Bo: bind off.
K: knit
P: purl
St-stitch: Sts- stitches
K2 tog: Knit two stitches together as one stitch.
Ssk: Slip, slip, knit, slip 2 stitches and knit them together.
Yo: yarn over
c6f: slip 3sts on cable needle and hold at front, k3sts and then 3sts from cable needle.
